Microprecision Electronics is a company of Swiss origin. Founded in 1956 on Lake Geneva in the heart of Europe, the company started as a supplier to the Swiss watch industry. Its competencies in manufacturing precision parts led to the development of microswitches. Through the growing success of this product range the company decided to concentrate on the development, manufacturing and distribution of switches. Today the products of the company are sold all around the world. In 2005 the ever-increasing demand from the United States let to the formation of its subsidiary Microprecison Electronics, Inc. based in Minneapolis, MN to even better support its American customers.

Companies whose activities encompass such different areas as food processing, chemicals, machine-tools, transport, etc. have long been placing their trust in Microprecision Electronics; indeed, they have found it to be a first-class and reliable partner, able to supply tailor-made products which meet international standards. Since 1993, Microprecision Electronics is ISO9001 certified.
